Your Investment Supports Accessibilty

YOUR INVESTMENT in the Presbyterian Investment and Loan Program continues to support churches by providing low-cost loans for renovations, new construction, and by helping our churches become more accessible.

Many of our historic churches are beautiful structures yet can pose significant challenges to worshippers with disabilities. The congregation of First Presbyterian in Mason, Michigan recognized that their over one-hundred-year-old physical space did not reflect their mission to be a warm and caring, Christ-centered community of faith. The second floor of the campus was only reachable by stairs, people with physical disabilities were challenged entering the sanctuary, and bathrooms were not fully accessible.

Today, First Presbyterian Church of Mason is installing an elevator, replacing outdated handicap accessibility ramps, and updating restrooms to be ADA compliant.

Through your investment, the Investment and Loan Program supports churches like First Presbyterian in Mason. Your dollars are helping to ensure our church buildings are accessible and welcoming – while helping congregations nurture and grow disciples to serve Christ in the world.
